PARTY ROOM RENOVATION

A busy condominium party room got a full facelift, with all new furniture, refinished herringbone floors and window treatments. Removing a fireplace wall that blocked the view opened the room up for residents to enjoy for many years to come.

The party room at this condo building works very hard, and it showed. The space needed a refresh, including all new furniture and a facelift.

Folio refinished the beautiful herringbone floors and removed a fireplace wall that was blocking the view. We furnished the rooms with all new seating and decor, and window treatments finished the look for the community to enjoy for many years to come.

Design Approach

A well-used party room needs to look good and stand up to daily use. We kept the warm wood panelling and brought it to life with a refined palette of blue seating, soft neutrals and metallic accents. Removing the fireplace wall opened the sightlines and let the daylight through, and the refinished herringbone floors add warmth and character. Every piece of furniture was chosen for comfort and durability, so the space works for gatherings large and small.

Window-Side Bar Counter

A tall counter with blue upholstered stools sits in front of the windows against the wood panelling, so guests can stand, chat and look out.

Blue Leather Sofa

A deep blue-grey leather sofa with soft neutral cushions anchors the lounge and gives the room its main splash of colour.

Amber Mirror Panels

Tinted mirror panels in warm gold tones on the left wall reflect the daylight and make the party room feel bigger.

Warm Wood Panelling

Horizontal wood panelling was kept and refreshed, giving the room warmth and a rich backdrop for the blue and grey furniture.
