Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of foliointeriors.com (the “Website”), operated by Folio Interiors (“Folio Interiors”, “we”, “us” or “our”), Ontario, Canada. By accessing or using the Website, or by submitting a form through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. About the Website

The Website provides information about our design-build services, including condominium corridor, lobby and amenity refurbishments and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), along with our portfolio, articles and ways to contact us. The Website is intended for use by adults, condominium boards, property managers and businesses in Canada.

2. Information Only, Not Professional Advice

Content on the Website, including blog articles, guides, cost and timeline discussions, FAQs and design ideas, is provided for general information only. It is not engineering, architectural, legal, financial or code compliance advice, and it does not replace advice from qualified professionals who know your building. Requirements under the Ontario Building Code, the Fire Code, the Condominium Act, 1998 and your corporation’s declaration and by-laws vary by project. You should confirm them with your own consultants and lawyer before making decisions.

We work to keep the Website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate or up to date, and we may change it at any time without notice.

3. Enquiries, Quotes and Projects

  • No contract through the Website: submitting a consultation request or contacting us does not create a contract or oblige either party to proceed.
  • Estimates and pricing: any cost ranges, budgets or timelines on the Website or given in early discussions are estimates only. A binding price is provided only in a written proposal or contract after we review the site and confirm the scope.
  • Project terms: all design and construction work is governed by a separate written agreement between Folio Interiors and the client. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails for that project.
  • Accuracy of information: you agree that information you send us, such as building details, drawings and photos, is accurate and that you are authorized to share it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
  • submit false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content, or information about another person without their permission;
  • send spam, unsolicited advertising or automated form submissions;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers or any connected systems, or interfere with its security or operation;
  • introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
  • scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the Website by automated means without our written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

The Website and its content, including text, photographs, renderings, designs, graphics, logos, the Folio Interiors name and the arrangement of the Website, are owned by or licensed to Folio Interiors and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.

You may view and print pages for your own personal or internal business use, such as sharing an article with your condominium board, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute or create derivative works from Website content without our prior written permission. To request permission, email refurb@foliointeriors.com.

6. Project Photos and Portfolio

Photos and descriptions of completed projects show work carried out by Folio Interiors and are presented for illustration. Finishes, colours and lighting may appear differently in person, and results on your project will depend on your building, scope and selections. Building and project names are used to identify our work and do not imply endorsement by the condominium corporation, its board or its residents.

7. Information You Submit

When you submit a form, send us an email or share photos or documents, you grant us permission to use that information to respond to you and to evaluate and deliver your project, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the Website unless we have agreed a secure method with you.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, including information collected through cookies and Google Analytics. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read it.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may link to other websites, such as product manufacturers, industry resources and our social media pages on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. These links are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Folio Interiors makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the Website, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or viruses. Warranties for our construction and design work are provided only in our written project agreements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Folio Interiors and its owners, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or our obligations under a signed project agreement.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Folio Interiors and its owners, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Province of Ontario.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Folio Interiors about your use of the Website.
